So yesterday I got this wild hair up my butt that I wanted to paint Ellie's crib white to match her changing table. Roy was going to go along with it and even help. He told me to go to the store and get all the supplies so when he got home from work he could get started on it. We decided to wait until today since Roy didn't have to work. Roy got up early and went golfing and I got up early too so I could work out, get my other craft projects done before we started another one and clean up the kitchen before he got back. He walked in the door and said "so yeah, we are not painting that crib. My mom said she would give us $50 dollars to go towards a new one since the old one was a drop down anyway." I of course was not going to complain about that. Now I didn't have to sand down the old one and try and make a paint job look good. So long story short we went and found this cute white crib at Burlington. Roy took the other one apart right away and got started putting this one together. He has been having back problems on and off all week and all the crawling around in such a small space, this one together was the cherry on top. BUT I love the crib soooooo much and am very happy with the purchase. Oh and also I can reach Ellie to put her in and out of the crib. Since the other one was a drop down (but you're not supposed to use those anymore) we had the drop side against the wall. So the sides were so tall and with me being so short it was kind of awkward to get her to go to sleep in it. The Old Crib
