Easter 2012

It was kind of fun waking up with Ellie to help her find her Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. She enjoyed most parts of it. Especially the grass. Ellie got some rubber ducks, hair bows, puffs, a stuffed animal, and a case for the Ipad.

Very happy about her Easter Basket

I played my flute with the choir today. I feel I did pretty well considering I haven't really played in front of anyone in close to 11 years.
Well there you have it. Spring Break has ended and I have to go back to work tomorrow. Two more months and it will be Summer break.

Visitors and Ellie

I am enjoying a nice week off of work for Spring Break. My parents came into town to visit on Sunday. I think they enjoyed spending some time with Ellie. They baby sat for us one night while Roy and I went on a date. We went out to dinner to Ichabods and went to the driving range to hit some golf balls. It was lots of fun to just hang out together.
Ellie really loved her Grandpa. He actually baby sat her by himself while my mom and I went and got my hair cut. I hadn't had one in about 9 months.
My parents also surprised me this morning with a new flute. I am playing in church on Easter Sunday with the choir. I was using my mom's 38 year old flute and it just wasn't functioning right. So I now have my own. The more I play it the more I love it!!! Thanks mom and dad!
Ellie has got a lot of personality, and a lot of attitude. She is learning to get her way by screaming....
Ellie is also crusing around the house by holding onto everything. I imagine she will be walking before we know it.
Can you guess what all these objects have in common? Well Ellie holds them all up to her ear and says "Hi Dad!" She thinks they are all cell phones.
I absolutly love this picture of my bean and our favorite person in the world... Her dad!!!
I can't believe Ellie will be 1 next month. She as grown so fast and we love her to picees.
