I Think Macie Likes Ellie

Today when I got home from work I was sitting with my feet up, Macie came over to sit by me. She rested her tiny head on my belly. As I could tell the baby was moving around, Macie would also move her head to where the baby went. I am sure Macie knows something is up, but I am not sure she knows exactly. I just hope she is as happy in 10 weeks when the baby gets here.

Crib Skirt

This took way longer than it should have because of my lovely sewing machine. It would sew about 3 inches at a time then I would have to take it apart to fix it and so on. BUT it is done an I love it. Now I can hide stuff under the crib!

New Relationship

I have been involved in a new relationship on the side. It is kind of a love/hate relationship. You see it is with my new ruffler foot I ordered for my sewing machine. I figured with having a little girl it would come in handy. I got it in the mail yesterday and got the machine out today. I put it on and it immediately worked... For about 2 seconds that is. Then it stopped. I couldn't even get my machine to make a simple straight stitch. I took my machine apart and stared at it. (I didn't know what else to do) I knew what it needed to do but I didn't know how to get it back to that point. Roy's friend who is staying with us looked at it and immediately figured out the problem and we fixed it. I put the ruffler foot back on and it got it to work for a few more seconds and then... yeah it broke again. I played this game for about 2 hours and decided to give up for the night. I got bored and played with it again and had quite a bit of success. I started on the dust ruffle for the crib since it was working so good. I cross my fingers that it continues to work better tomorrow as I would like to finish my project before the baby comes. Wish me luck. Here is the fabric that I am using. It kind of ties all the colors in together.

29 Weeks

I had a lady ask me how much longer I had yesterday and I responded about 2 and a half months. She said "oh that baby is going to be as big as you!"

Pampered

Molly got a hair cut today. She was beginning to look like a mop. We took her to a new place and they even added little pink bows. She came out strutting her stuff. It was like she knew she looked good. We tried to get a good picture of her to show "grandma dog" but she doesn't really like her picture taken so she had a random we will chase you around the house photo shoot. These are what we came up with and well you can tell by the last picture she was done. I think she looks skinnier. Maybe next time we take her to the vet they won't tell us she needs to lose some weight.
Poor Macie didn't get a hair cut and I think she is a little jealous.
